What We Are Looking For
You have a "break-it" mindset. You find the edge cases that others miss. You are comfortable moving between exploratory manual testing and building automated test frameworks for complex systems. You care about both pixel-perfect UI in our merchant dashboard and the integrity of backend APIs. You don't just find bugs — you understand why they happened and help prevent them.
What You’ll Do
Own quality across web apps (React/Next.js), mobile views, and backend APIs (NestJS) Design and maintain automated test frameworks (E2E + integration) Perform exploratory manual testing for new features and edge cases Validate internal and third-party integrations (couriers, payments, etc.) using Postman / Insomnia Track, document, and follow up on bugs with engineering and product teams Run pre-deployment validation to ensure stability of existing features
Technical Requirements
5+ years in QA Engineering or Software Testing Strong experience testing REST APIs and JSON-based systems Experience with state-driven systems (orders, tracking, payments) Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions / GCP) Ability to write basic MongoDB queries for validation purposes Experience building or maintaining test automation frameworks
Preferred (X-Factor)
Shopify ecosystem experience (apps or Admin flow understanding) Performance testing (k6, JMeter, or similar) Exposure to AI/LLM output testing and validation
